Big update this month: Solana support is officially live on Fern.

This means developers can now build with Solana and take advantage of seamless on/off-ramp and crypto-to-crypto flows — no extra integrations needed.

Here’s what’s new:

📢 Feature Launches

• Solana Support Live – Fern now supports:

  • Transactions with SPL (ERC20) tokens: USDC, USDT, EURC, PYUSD

  • Crypto-to-crypto transactions using SPL tokens

  • Onramps: EUR/SEPA → USDC/Solana

  • Offramps: USDC/Solana → EUR/SEPA & ZAR (via Bridge & Walapay)

  • Full support for EURC

  • Support for PYUSD (Bridge Only)

⚠️ Note: Native SOL transactions, swapping, and bridging aren’t supported yet — but Jupiter + CCTP support is on the roadmap.

• FX Multiplex Routing – FX conversions are now smarter. Fern automatically selects the best route for your transactions, improving speed and lowering costs.

🛠 Platform Improvements

• Smarter KYC & KYB Patching – PATCH requests now automatically trigger verification once all required data is captured — no extra steps needed.

• GET Customer API Upgrade – You can now retrieve KYC/KYB verification details directly by using the includeVerification query parameter.

• Automation Rules (Coming Soon) – Deployments are about to get easier with staging automation rules designed to reduce manual steps and errors.
