Ansa Research, a top research firm covering distributed infrastructure projects, has onboarded to Fern. Ansa works with funds and startups – from business development, supporting go to market, and producing market research – to help accelerate the growth of the decentralized web. Their reports and research are read by hundreds of users, investors, and builders in the distributed networking and infrastructure space.
As Ansa’s team has grown, they’ve received an increasing number of requests from global employees and contributors to be paid in stablecoins. Ansa operates a primarily USD-denominated treasury, which creates a challenge when paying employees in stablecoins.
Enter Fern, the onchain bank account of choice for lean, distributed teams. Ansa was able to set up an account and onramp funds within a few days of selecting Fern. Next, Ansa set up payments for their first employee to be paid in stablecoins. Within a few months, the number of employees requesting stablecoins for payment tripled, further underscoring the importance of seamless access to stablecoin payments for Ansa.
Ansa leverages Fern’s ability to easily send fiat from their bank accounts directly to Fern, and to pay expenses and payroll in various fiat, stablecoin, and crypto currencies. As Ansa has grown, they have started to use Fern for expenses beyond just payroll.
From Jonathan Victor at Ansa Research: “The first thing we noticed about Fern was the seamless onboarding process. After evaluating a number of solutions, the easy to use UI and powerful connections with our banking providers made it a no-brainer. We were set up in a couple of days and sending transfers between bank accounts and the Fern platform, to employees and for general expenses.”
Fern looks forward to continuing to support Ansa as they publish important research aimed at educating the broader web3 community.
